Teaching Practice and Industrial Internship

Teaching Parctice 
Educational Practical Course (PK) is a course with a weight of 6 credits. The students are given an opportunity to practice thier teaching skills in schools, especially vocational high schools (vhs) for 3 months. The school setting is in Indonesia or in neighbor countries, such as Malaysia and Thailand The material includes the classroom teaching and learning process and the management of learning activities. The evaluation is based on the reports, the portfolio of teaching materials and learning assessments models, as well as their teaching performance in classroom, laboratory, and workshop. 

Industrial Internship
The Industrial intenship program contain 3 credits. The students are demanded  to find, formulate, try to find solutions to problems in the world of work (industry) and to compile reports to be presented to supervisors in industry and advisors from campus. The students gain work experience through a series of 3 to 6 months in structured programs in one of partner companies. Students who take part in an industrial internship program will be treated as employees for doing work assignments or certain projects. When conducting this program, students (interns) will receive supervision from senior Industrial Engineering lecturers to understand each strategic and operational business process in the company, identify problems or opportunities to improve business processes using a comprehensive Industrial Engineering framework. Several selected students also have opportunities to have internship in foreign partner companies, such as Japan, Malaysia and Thailand.
